I really like Wilco, as a comedian and an actor, but about halfway through the show, I felt like he switched gears because he had run out of good material and just turned crude, which turned off both me and my date. When he went into his sexual experience with a porn star, we ended up walking out (you know that scene in Good Luck Chuck where you scrub down after sex with the giant chick? Wilco, I hope you did that after, with a giant can of Lysol, man). He started the show so strong with some really clever bits; for example, he relayed when he watches his favorite TV shows, he lays in one corner of his California King-sized bed, what he called "the northeast corner". Eventually, though, he fell into the same old tired dick jokes that I guess all comedians think are funny, but the visibly increasingly uncomfortable audience chuckles at politely, and usually just the men (myself not included). Making reference to how different it is to live near the theater you are playing vs. being on the road, how it has a different feel to play a venue where you can stop by Radio Shack on the way to the show to pick up a USB cable was great, original material. Again, great material. When my date stopped laughing for a long stretch, I suggested to her we leave, and the relief and speed of her agreement verified what I suspected. It was very disappointing.
